A six-day retreat to reconnect to aliveness on all levels of being
20-25.08.2024
This is an exploration of realness, shedding social masks, and loosening the contracted nature of the ego structure and everyday choreography. Regaining access to authenticity and fluidity in relationships and body, showing up as you are, with your emotions, with your body, with your imperfections, and with inherent goodness.
Together we embark on this journey - meeting our shame and fear, embracing and integrating them, taking steps towards wholeness. If you long for more truthful and honest connections where you feel safe in showing up exactly as you are, this is the perfect playground for practicing.
Us wild beings in these bodies that can read text have as much capacity to thrive in aliveness as a tree that moves towards the sun. Trees are not flawed. When a branch breaks off, there is persisting strong wind, or even if most of the tree cracks in two, it just keeps going in beautiful new, crooked, swirly ways, and we love them. Life is actually really hard to resist. It wants to flower.
Sometimes we try our hardest to make it more quiet, more stagnant, pushing it down to try to fit in our fantasy boxes, and real ones. We invite you to a six-day-long retreat to fall in love with life and aliveness, to deeply inhabit your inner and outer landscapes together with others, to relax into not resisting the force that wants to expand, to play, to express, and challenge what's in the way, remembering the pleasure that comes when you sink into the mystery that is now. Welcome to a place beyond time, where life is saturated in color, where every moment shows its uniqueness.
Who is it for?
For those who want more authenticity and realness in your everyday life. For those who want to become freer in your ways of self-expression, letting go of outdated social masks and roles, and getting in touch with your deeper nature.
For those who, in their everyday lives, experience states of numbness, purposelessness, and lack of vitality, and want to invite more aliveness, the juice of life, excitement, and sensory activation without overwhelm.
For those who want to practice resilience, the capacity to stay present with the intensity of life, with less response of dissociation or suppression of feelings and sensations. Resilience as deep contact with reality, nature, and humility in connection with the unknown.
For those who are longing for new structures and organization of our society. Those who want to reshape the reality we, as humanity, live in, reshaping our inner reality and reimagining the outer.
If you have any questions or want to meet facilitators and hear more about the Garden of Eden, you can join an open Q&A call on the 16th of April or schedule a 20-minute individual call with either of the facilitators.
What will take place?
The program will be structured as a shared journey for the group, starting by establishing the group field, smaller sharing groups, and a nature connection point. Gradually, we open our bodies and inner structures over the course of two days. On day three, we enter a deepening ritual journey where we establish ourselves in the ecosystem of us, the group, and the nature around us. The two following days after that will be oriented towards digesting, celebrating, integrating, and sense-making.
The length of this retreat allows us to take our time, be slow, and there will be plenty of open spaces for creativity and simply being, together or alone.
The retreat begins on the 20th of August at 6pm and ends on the 25th at 2pm.
Tools and approaches
The tools we use in our workshops and rituals come from the worlds of circling, breathwork, bodywork, forum, authentic relating, radical honesty, conscious movement, free flow dance, movement medicine, mindfulness, and improv theatre. We will go into the forest for the ritual of nature exploration, gently guided by plants. In this journey, we will rejoice with nature and meet in nonverbal ways while being in expanded consciousness reality.
We want to support you in sharing yourself in a form of invitations that you would like to offer. This is for supporting your process of self-expression, creativity, and self-leadership. We recognize this as very potent on the path of self-discovery, and there is room and opportunity for that here.
Examples of the workshop blocks
Dance Portal, Circling & Exploration of Nakedness (non-sexual), BioDynamic Breathwork, Nature Sit Spot, Expanded Consciousness Journey, Forum, Sensory Activation - Bodywork Flow, Washed by the Sea Ceremony, Circling and Radical Honesty informed group check-ins, Kundalini Meditation, Sauna Massage Flow, No Talent Show, Silent Walk in Nature.
Facilitators Team
Mateusz, works as a Holistic Practitioner and focuses on modalities based on touch, breath, presence, and inquiry. He believes in the intelligence of the body for self-healing and the significance of how developmental trauma shapes our personalities. His training includes BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release, Myofascial Energetic Release bodywork, Compassionate Inquiry by G. Mate, and Circling from Circling Europe. He is passionate about dancing, the integration of spirituality and contemporary psychology, expanded states of consciousness, and most recently the Vipassana practice.
Navi works as a Somatic Coach, Circling- and Relatefulness facilitator, Free Dance- and Movement Exploration facilitator, and hosts and creates artistic ritual explorations. The Somatic Coaching is based on finding flow and alignment on all levels of movement, physical tissues, physiology, nervous system, spiritual, connection to other and bigger external life structures. With a background in trauma awareness and polyvagal theory all their work has this embedded. They love and breathe movement and music in all forms, and has a strong relationship to change, futurism, scientific theory and ethics, particularly in large complex systems.
Magnús has been hosting transformational spaces and ceremonies for over a decade. He is a yoga teacher and meditation guide, trained in Authentic Relating and he runs Copenhagen Psychedelic Integration Community, which stems from his reverence for the entheogens nature has so gracefully given us. He is a playful soul, dancer, poet and occasionally a rapper. He lives and works in a community in South Sjælland, where this retreat will be hosted.

Questions and Anwsers
Why ‘The Garden of Eden’?
We want to integrate elements of being in deep connection with the inner and outer nature, allowing it to guide us, and inhabit the full innocent range that we were born with. We will also invite the possibility of exposing ourselves, being witnessed without clothes as a means to find greater freedom. Finally, by making a reference to the metaphorical beginnings of society and shame, we will invite exploration of how social structures, and internalized ones, can be reorganized, informed by embodied experiences from the retreat.
Why are we hosting it?
We love living our full lives, and as hosts, we all devote our regular work to empowering this possibility. We love seeing and being with others in their becoming, and it is fascinating to witness, over and over again, how we reorganize, also as a group, towards something more sustainable and livable as soon as there is some room for it.
Can I join if I haven’t been to a similar event before?
Yes, absolutely. Fill in the form, and we will call you to have a conversation to ensure that it is a good match and to check if this is what you are searching for.
If you have any questions we are available for you. Below you can book a free Discovery Call with one of facilitators:
Can I join alone, or with a friend or a partner?
All potentials are welcome and have great value. These days are intended to support you in discovering aspects of your being that are less guarded, more free, and closer to your deeper nature. If you join with your partner or a friend, you might have a better environment to keep practicing once you are back home, and an anchor supporting your integration and staying in practice.
Will I be required to be without clothes at any point?
No, this, like all the invitations, will be optional. The facilitation will create space for everyone, no matter where your boundaries are in that regard. What you need to be okay with is that other people might be without clothes when that is offered as part of the practice.
What is the framework for sensuality, intimacy, and se*uality?
This is not a tantric retreat, and the focus is not on exploring your sexuality. That said, sexual energy is a fundamental aspect of our humanity, and it can easily arise in a sensual and liberated setting such as this. The invitation is to be very slow and conscious in your interactions and to explore yourself in the way that feels most aligned, safe, and in integrity at this point in your life.

Q&A and exploration call on the 29th of April
On the 29th of April, 7 pm, facilitators (Mateusz, Navi, Magnus) are inviting you for the intro call to answer your questions, share about the retreat vision, and give you some embodied experience of what to expect at the Garden of Eden.
Co-Creation
We will have 2 food leads who do the planning and make sure we are well-nurtured for our explorations. Food preparations and cleaning after meals will happen as a communal effort, meaning that we will ask you to have around 3 cleaning/cooking shifts throughout the retreat. Shifts and food preps will be coordinated by food leads and in our experience it's a good opportunity to rest from emotional processing and connect with others in mundane activities.
Integration call
We hold an awareness that every expansion and opening is followed by a reversed movement, and such is the nature of life. The wonderful experience of safety and openness that can be felt during the retreat might start fading once the bubble breaks, which can be challenging. We will provide you with tools and structures that support the integration of the experience into your life, both while we are in place and after the retreat.
One of these structures is the Integration call that is planned for the 16th of September, 7 pm.
A Note on Intimacy
Please note that touch and close, intimate (but not sexual), human contact will be part of some of the exercises. If you know that it is a strong trigger for you, this retreat might not be the right choice for you.
Additionally, if you have cPTSD, this retreat might be too intense at some moments. If you have doubts about whether this retreat is right for you, please contact us, and let’s explore it together.
