BioDynamic Breathwork is meant for anyone who wishes to feel less anxious, more connected to the body, or to find peacefulness in the mind. Thanks to that process, participants often experience a release of held-back emotions, loosening up tensions in the body and accessing the quality of effortless Being. It is a holistic, trauma-informed approach to healing and self-discovery. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞? Breath is an essential component of one’s physical and mental well-being. However, throughout life, we learn different patterns of holding it to reduce what we feel when encountering challenging experiences. As a result, we also reduce access to vitality, freedom, intuition, creativity, and the essence of the Being. Once we invite deep, continuous breaths through the mouth the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) gets stimulated, which helps to connect with suppressed impulses of the body, energies, and emotions. It changes the neurochemistry of the brain and allows us to loosen up the grip of our ego mind. When we later slow the breath down the deep state of the parasympathetic nervous system (rest&digest) gets activated, which brings a deep state of relaxation, integration, and clarity. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧? That 3h breathwork journey will begin with landing and a short meditation to find more safety in a group, and presence. The introduction part consists of group check-in, sharing in pairs, guided meditation with intro elements of BioDynamic Breathwork, and following explanation about the breathwork method. After a short break, we start 1h breathwork session and round it up with the integration phase and group sharing. The fundamental elements of the modality are: • connected breath • movement • touch • emotional expression • meditation • music In this Spring Special series of workshops, each is held with a specific theme, that will be explored during guided meditation
