Inquiry ~ Breathwork ~ Mindfulness
Description
Somatic therapy is rooted in the paradigm of the body-mind connection. While this perspective has always been central to traditional wisdom practices, it has found its way into modern approaches through extensive research in trauma and neuroscience. Online therapy sessions are body-focused, somatic inquiries dedicated to exploring topics you wish to address in your therapeutic process. This approach helps you uncover the roots of emotional patterns, recognize how they manifest as physical sensations, and practice staying present in your body. The framework for this process is primarily based on Compassionate Inquiry, Circling: presence-based coaching, and Internal Family Systems. What is essential in somatic work is that the therapeutic process unfolds while we maintain continuous awareness and connection to the body. This allows us to go beyond the mind’s repetitive narratives and overthinking, and can help lift patterns of persistent anxiety, unease, or disconnection. Another valuable tool we may incorporate in our online therapy is breathwork supported by organic movement. During guided breathwork sessions, stuck emotions and energies can be expressed directly through the body, helping to release freeze states and bodily dissociation. This can be particularly supportive for people working with suppressed anger, depression, or a sense of low vitality. Sessions end with a reflection on your insights and practical ways to integrate them into everyday life. This may include embodiment exercises, recommended books, workshops, self-inquiry, or mindfulness practices. Every session is uniquely shaped, and we co-create its form based on your intentions and current needs. This process can support you in feeling more freedom, inner peace, and self-acceptance. After a series of sessions, many of my clients report feeling clearer about what they want and need, their boundaries, capacity to relate with others, and enjoying Life.
